Our team is carefully selected and highly qualified, with the education, training, and experience needed to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment. Staff members maintain up-to-date certifications, participate in ongoing professional development, and follow all state regulations to ensure the highest standards of care and education for every child.
Qualifications
At Monarch Montessori, all staff meet or exceed the requirements established by the State of Michigan for licensed child care centers, ensuring a safe and high-quality learning environment for every child. These qualifications include comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, and clearance through state child abuse and neglect registries, as well as verification of education and experience in early childhood development. Staff are also required to maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications, complete health and safety training, and participate in ongoing professional development hours each year as required by the state.
In addition to these standards, Monarch Montessori is committed to excellence in Montessori education. Our staff receive ongoing training and professional development in Montessori philosophy and instructional practices, allowing them to effectively guide students in a way that fosters independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
